I love you, Daddy.

As I sit here waiting to hear more information I find myself needing to do something. The news today about my Dad's passing is so sudden I'm not even able to fully process it. I'm feeling helpless here in California. Take the time to let your loved ones know how much they mean to you so you won't have to wonder if they knew you loved them. I love you Daddy.

Jack's Birthday Party!

We had Jack's birthday party in the park across the street from our house just like last year. It was sports themed and since we had t-ball, golf, soccer, and bowling games set up out in the park we figured we'd get a hockey cake which they did offer at Costco. Honestly though, this just looks like a big blue check mark to me! But Jack loved it!

Dear Jack,

Yesterday you turned 3 years old! What the heck?! Where did those 3 years go? We love you more than you can know Jack. You are such a smart, loving, fun and amazing boy! And the best son and big brother! We hope you had a fun day!!! Happy Birthday to you sweetheart! xo

Aquarium cont'd...

Because we had to drop Jason off at the airport first we didn't get there until noon so it was pretty busy with all the summer camp kids. Jack was a bit overwhelmed at first and tired from the long car ride but he loved that there was a play area.

This is the only shot I got of him looking towards me. He wouldn't let me get his picture at all.

Jack goes to the "American"...

A few weeks ago Jack, Josh and I went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach! We dropped Daddy off at the airport earlier in the day and since we had already made the long drive down there I figured we should go while both boys are still free!! Jack struggled with the word aquarium at first and if he said it to quickly he said "american"! Too cute (he didn't think it was funny when I laughed though)!

Don't worry this isn't a real starfish it was a toy.
