"Dark Vader"

Jack was "Dark Vader" (complete with breathing machine!) for Halloween and Josh was a skeleton since I could not find anything else in his size.  Jack wasn't that into Trick or Treating this year though he maybe got to 3 houses! When I asked him later why he said it was because he scared himself!!

We also got visited by the cutest lil' monkey you ever did see!
And the Prettiest Tinkerbell sprinkled Pixie Dust at our house!

McGrath Pumpkin Patch

Trip to the pumpkin patch with the Fowler Family!

Josh took picking a pumpkin out very seriously! ;)

Painted Pony Farm Petting Zoo & Pumpkin Patch

Jack got to take his first field trip to a petting farm and pumpkin patch. He got to cut his own pumpkin and see animals and hold baby chicks with his preschool friends!

Josh's First Lollipop!

Jack has discovered that kids get free lollipops at See's. And Josh soon realized he wanted in on the action.

I'd say he enjoyed it!!! Now the problem is we have to go every time we're there!

Happy Birthday Jack and Luke!

Ok so Jack's birthday was back in September but I'm behind in blog land as usual!

Preschool Party!

                                                        Friend Party!

Jack and his best bud, Luke are two days and 1 year apart. So they shared their party since mostly the same people came and they have the same interests!

Off to Santa Barbara

The boys (all 3 of them) love to go to Santa Barbara to hang out on nice days.

There is a park there that they love affectionately known as "the brown park".
I don't know it's real name but it has a huge maze play structure made of wood that is brown so...

The swings are their favorite!

Cat Nap

I caught someone (who "wasn't tired") taking a nap!

So I thought I better take some pics as evidence!

We've got a swimmer!!!

It is amazing!!!  He's been in swim two weeks for only 30 minutes a day and he's come so far!!  He can swim under water and all the way across the pool and even jump in!! The little girl's dad in his class took these pics and video under water his 2nd day!!! She is an awesome teacher!!!

I know, I know...

I haven't blogged in ages. Well I hope the following makes up for it and I'll try to be better and about keeping up with it.  Just a warning though:  I'm going to be crazy busy the next few weeks with school starting, moving, and getting used to our new schedule.  But it's all good!! :o)

Jack's "Real" Swimming Lessons

Jack is taking some "real" swim lessons right now.  He's taken the ones at the community pool that is like circle time in the water with singing and games with like 30 other kids but those didn't do much so we got a great recommendation from a friend about a more private type lesson.  I have to tell you the first lesson was brutal. Lots of screaming and crying but the teacher is very patient and a no nonsense kinda lady! Just what Jack needs!! And since then he's been a fish and loving every minute. And can practically swim underwater already and jump in!! It has been amazing!!
