Easter Weekend

Just as I published the last posting he started crying...oh well.

Operation No Binki...Day 1:

I guess it went alright. He didn't take a nap since he didn't have his binki to help him sleep he cried for an hour so I just let him stay up and crossed my fingers that it would be easier for him to get to bed if he was totally exhausted! I think by bedtime he got the message. He went looking for it in the usual place so I just told him all gone, no more like they were cookies or something and he was pretty much ok with it. He fussed for about 10 minutes once I put him down and I haven't heard a peep yet. But we'll see how tomorrow goes!

I'll need luck today so maybe I've timed it right for tomorrow! I'm going cold turkey on the binki for Jack starting Monday! Thanks for the tip Tiff. I tried cutting the tip off to no avail! He just tried sucking on what was left! Determination I guess! Hopefully it won't be too hard on the little guy! We'll see...

Hooray!!!

I got my birthday present early!! I finally got a new camera!!! Yippee skippy!! So now I can take pictures that are easy to use and upload and all that good stuff! And it is cute too! Thanks to Mom and Maurice!! I'm so excited!!

Binki Bummer...

I need some thoughts from mommies. Jack is 18 months old and he needs to get off his pacifier. (I'm wishing I never gave it to him in the first place!) The Dr. has told me and I know it needs to go bye bye. Dr. said to get rid of it cold turkey. Just throw them all away but I'm worried about my sleep. Selfish I know. He only uses it when he goes to bed and if he gets really hurt. He goes down to bed so easily with the help of it. I guess I should just do it! Any thoughts or ideas? I've looked online and everything is to help older kids. I guess I just feel bad taking it away from him. Help!

Can you do me a favor?

I need a favor, our computer crashed the other day and we lost everything. I dont' care much about anything but the pictures that I had saved. If anyone has sent me pictures through email and you have them readily available can you resend them to me? ie Grandma's funeral, New Year's Eve, or our trip up to the snow. Thanks so much!

Freakin' Dandelions...

Anyone know how to safely keep dandelions from growing? I've been playing tug of war with some GIANT ones in our front yard! And not the cute ones you can make a wish on either!
