So glad we were able to catch up with my oldest brother, Chris and his beautiful family. Always fun to be with them! Chris and Lane made an amazing BBQ dinner and our boys had fun together!

Lucky Me!

Back in July, I was so lucky to have my roommate and bestie from college come visit me with her kids and again with her hubby (who was like my other college roommate).  I didn't get nearly enough pics but it was fun to have them even if only for a few days!

Summer: Blow it up!

Our sweet neighbor Addy (I think she looks a lot like Grace!). They were both very proud of this creation.

The theme of our summer seemed to be endless blow up pools and boats and such. I think we went through three or four. Five if you count the little one in our yard right now! ;)

Impromptu trip to the beach! The best kind of beach trips!

So funny! I was steam vacuuming the rugs which is kind of loud. Josh ran to sit on Daddy's lap and plugged his ears and I guess the hum of the machine put these two to sleep!

Jack passed another level of swim with our favorite swim teacher, Pauletta! She's so awesome!

National Train Day

We took Jack's best buddy, Luke with us on an early morning Amtrack ride down to Union Station in Downtown LA for National Train Day. All 3 boys (4 if you count Jason) are avid train lovers!
They had a ball but man oh man was it busy!!

Legoland Surprise!

 

Totally surprised the kids with a trip to Legoland during Spring Break. They had no idea. We told them Daddy had a meeting in San Diego so we had to get up really early.  We got the so early they weren't open yet but their aquarium was which Josh LOVED. Hard to take pics in there though. And and added bonus... STAR WARS!!! Each movie had a Lego scene. I took a lot of pics of that but I didn't post all of them. All the Lego scenes all over the park were pretty neat.
