Don't you just love...

When the credit card company calls your husband right before Christmas to verify every charge that you've made in the past few days. Way to go!! Why didn't you call the person who made the charges! They're going on the naughty list!

I cheated...

On my Christmas cards this year! Thanks to my awesome Aunt Kathy who took our family picture that is also at the top of this blog! It is from back in May. Jack has grown since then but I had no picture to top this one and I wanted to show it off! So thank you again, Kathy! I love you and hope I get to see all my Utah peeps soon!

I have no idea...

Ok, so time is ticking away (rather quickly I might add) and I still have no idea what to get for Jason for Christmas. I keep hoping that while I'm out and about taking care of other holiday errands that I'll have an epiphany or something will leap out at me that is perfect but I'm seriously doubting those possibilities. Part of the problem is that the man loves his music but he has the benefit of getting things like that in advance. So I'm just venting... let me know if you have an epiphany for me! :o)

Um, yeah...

I've done like none of my holiday shopping yet! YIKES! Every year I tell myself I'll start earlier but instead it seems to get later and later! At least the tree is up! Now, I need to take care of Christmas cards which requires a picture! Hmmm... I think December should be made longer ;o)

I'm just wondering why no one has decided to put a Cafe Rio in California! I mean seriously! I can't imagine that they would do poorly here! Just thought I'd share...and while they're at it they should put one in Cleveland too!

Jack's favorite thing to do...

Jason recently started mowing our little lawn for the first time in his life! And he loves to do it, so naturally so does Jack. He says every single day, "I mow-mow outside with Daddy, ok Mama?" so Jason and I both wanted to get him his own lawnmower. Cutest thing! It blows bubbles while it mows and sounds like one too without batteries! So even though the pics aren't the greatest I had to share...

He refused to stand up for this picture instead he just tried to flatten himself against the stairs!

And...we're done with the hat. Honestly, I didn't think he'd wear it at all, or his costume for that matter! He needed to be very distracted!

For the first couple of houses he thought we were going there to visit so he'd just walk right in. He started to get the hang of it and was pretty impressed by the fact that he was given candy for no reason other than just standing there. He wouldn't say "Trick or Treat" only "thank you!" So cute! Last year at this time he couldn't walk so it was so precious to see him go on his own this time (even if it was only for a block!) He wasn't a fan of the scarier houses.

He is a fan though of our neighbor who was Cinderella. The princess and the pirate!

Oh Boy!

We're having another boy! I couldn't wait for my ultrasound in my 8th or 9th month so I cheated and went ahead and had another one! We've had a girl's name for ages now, but are struggling to find names we both agree on for a boy... so any suggestions?

We still don't know...

After two ultrasounds they still can't tell me whether we're having a boy or a girl. The first one the baby's legs were wide open but the cord was right in the middle so they couldn't say either way. This morning the little stinker was sitting on it's feet so still nothing. I'm hoping they'll schedule me for another one soon cuz now I'm even more curious!!!!

It is fire season once again...

Well it is that time again! Fire season is here and in full swing as I know it right now there are 3 fires burning between us and my parent's house. They are both home waiting to see what happens since there is one burning in Little Tujunga Canyon in Lake View Terrace just a few miles to the northwest of them! All the freeways in and around that area are shut down!Hopefully the erratic winds that are plaguing us right now will die down soon! We don't get hurricanes, tornadoes, or blizzards but we do get fires! I can see smoke blowing into Ventura from the east. Scary!

Our Trip to Nova Scotia!

In August, we took a trip to visit Jason's dad's side in Sydney, Nova Scotia which is in Cape Breton a small island in eastern Canada. And we were able to get his dad to go with us this time! We love to visit there and see everyone. Jason's dad, Arthur, is one of 9! So there are lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and 2nd cousins! When we visit we stay with Uncle Robert and Aunt Joanne (love them!) and we have a ball. We are so grateful for their neverending hospitality!While we're there Jason has golfing buddies in his uncles. We were also so happy to see and spend time with everyone! It is absolutely beautiful there! Jason went swimming in the Atlantic Ocean until he saw jellyfish and then he was OUTTA THERE! Jason got more pics on his camera but here are some from my camera.

Jack got his 2nd haircut yesterday! Honestly, I don't know why I waited so long. I did last time too! Each time it's like I'm afraid it won't grow back but it always does and really fast too. Plus, he just looks so dang handsome after! I love it! Not that Jack really enjoyed the process all that much, but he did get a balloon out of the whole ordeal! And he needed to look cool for his party tomorrow!

In Memory of September 11, 2001...

I just wanted to take a minute to remember all those who we lost so tragically and all those who suffered on September 11, 2001.

Jack is 2? That is crazy!

Jack turned 2 yesterday without my permission! Where did the time go? I made him the Elmo cake I was going to make for him last year. He LOVED it. I'll post pics ASAP! Other updates: I'm 13 weeks now so I'm over the "hump" so to speak which is a relief. For some reason I've got high blood pressure. High enough to be on medication, but it seems to be helping. I had borderline high BP with Jack most of the time, but nothing too serious I was only on meds for a few days after he was born! Every pregnancy different I guess. As I'm writing this I'm anxiously awaiting to hear how Sara is doing! Go Sara! Can't wait to hear how the baby and new mama are doing! Not to mention if it is a boy or a girl!!!!!

Midnight Sun Drama...

Has anyone read Stephenie Meyers' blog? She says she isn't going to be writing Midnight Sun now since someone released her manuscript and people have been reading it online. She is very upset! Oh no!! She has a link on her site to read what she has already written! Also they are moving the release date up of the Twilight movie three weeks since Harry Potter got moved back to July! I just found some pictures from my awesome birthday that I didn't know Jason had on his computer! Thank you everyone for making it so awesome! Especially you Aunt Kathy and Jason too. I didn't get as many pictures as I should have but what else is new!?

Number 2!

So you may or may have not noticed to the right our little baby ticker! We are expecting another bundle of joy in March! We are excited and also cautiously optimistic! I've got my first ultrasound tomorrow morning so I'll keep you posted!
