The Hortons!!!

I haven't seen my cousin Kiersten since I got married in 2005!! Way to long and I hadn't seen her husband Ben since before that!! So I was so excited when the boys and I got the chance to meet up with them in San Diego and go to the zoo!!!  It was a super short visit but I was so happy to see them!! Unfortunately it rained off and on all day.  They must have brought some Seattle climate with them!  ;o)  I knew right away that Jack would love them both.  I'm pretty sure they were exhausted at the end of the day!

My friend, Angie, from college came out to visit us from Boston and we all had a ball! My boys were sad to see her leave (and so was I)!

I even got to go to Disneyland with no kids! (Don't worry they got to go the following month!) We had so so so much fun!!!! And our other friend for college, Becky, came and met us later in the day!! Watch out Mickey!! 

 Hard to tell but this is me soaking wet from head to toe after riding Splash Mountain!! I was freezing!!!

in 7 days for Utah.  I'm just sayin'... I'm excited!!

Guess What?!

I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!!  Breanna called me this morning and told me she had the best birthday news for me ever! So naturally I was intrigued! I never saw it coming!  She had just driven past what is to be the newest location of Cafe Rio!!!  In Oxnard, just 10 minutes from here!!  It is going to open in 23 days!!!  How lucky am I?!!!

Jack didn't quite remember that you are supposed to put the eggs in the basket. He would pick them up, look at them, and then put them back where they were. Now if he would just do that with his toys at home when he's done with them!
