Impromptu trip to the beach! The best kind of beach trips!

So funny! I was steam vacuuming the rugs which is kind of loud. Josh ran to sit on Daddy's lap and plugged his ears and I guess the hum of the machine put these two to sleep!

Jack passed another level of swim with our favorite swim teacher, Pauletta! She's so awesome!

National Train Day

We took Jack's best buddy, Luke with us on an early morning Amtrack ride down to Union Station in Downtown LA for National Train Day. All 3 boys (4 if you count Jason) are avid train lovers!
They had a ball but man oh man was it busy!!
Always fun to ride a train!
Don't know how I didn't actually get a picture of a train though!

Legoland Surprise!

 

Totally surprised the kids with a trip to Legoland during Spring Break. They had no idea. We told them Daddy had a meeting in San Diego so we had to get up really early.  We got the so early they weren't open yet but their aquarium was which Josh LOVED. Hard to take pics in there though. And and added bonus... STAR WARS!!! Each movie had a Lego scene. I took a lot of pics of that but I didn't post all of them. All the Lego scenes all over the park were pretty neat.

They weren't posing. Just found them both watching TV like this one afternoon and had to grab a quick picture before the moment was lost so it's not the greatest but I thought it was pretty cute! :)

Exploring the Children's Museum

We have a small Children's Museum in our county that Josh and I got to tag along when Jack's preschool class went for the day.  There was a train display so Josh was pretty well occupied! They also had space shuttle exhibit which Jack and his buddy loved!

Trip to LV

Back in April, we visited Jason's oldest friend, Ben and his wife Stephanie in Vegas and met his son, Ethan.  The boys had fun together! Wish I'd have gotten a picture of the Dads and their boys.

So much fun at the mall getting a See's sucker Ethan had to take a cat nap.

So what is there to do in Vegas for me?  Well there's a Hobby Lobby on Stephanie Street!! :)
